Backyard Garden Oasis Events

Every season Backyard Garden Oasis hosts magical events from the natural world. We also have other kinds of magical events both here and in the surrounding areas ~ weddings, anniversaries, graduations, spiritual retreats, business retreats, and birthday celebrations are all popular events. We love hosting weddings or other special occasions of up to 125 people. The ceremony and reception can be held on the lawn and around the pond and waterfall. We can connect you with local caterers, florists, make-up artists, and other local event planners. We also take pride in being GLBT friendly and welcome the opportunity to provide a beautiful place for any couple who love one another enough to get married. Recently we have begun welcoming crafters’ and writers’ retreat groups with meeting/working space around the beautiful maple table in the dining room for up to 12 people. Below are some pictures from a few of our special events.

We have an acre of landscaped grounds and gardens, available to be used to your heart's desire.  The acre includes the fountain, waterfall and pond as well as a vast lawn with many opportunities for taking beautiful photographs to be cherished forever. We have plenty of parking for your guests and there are ample lodgings in the area as well. Wedding parties have set up tables and chairs for dining, created special rituals, and danced until 10pm before honeymooning in their cottages. We are honored to help people realize their dreams.

Our Wedding Package includes a Grounds Rental Fee as well as the exclusive use of the three cottages for two or three days, depending on the weekend. Please call or email Greta for pricing.

Payment is as follows:

At the time of the reservation, pay a 50% non-refundable deposit for the Grounds Rental.

4 weeks in advance of the event pay the remaining balance, the cottage rentals, and a $1000 refundable security deposit. 

 
We have contacts with excellent wedding planners, florists, manicurists, make-up artists, massage therapists, catering companies, including Preferred Sonoma Caterers, Petaluma and Lake View Market, and rental companies.  Please ask and we will provide you with a list.
